What is it PASSCAN F-2000^TM

PASSCAN F-2000^TM performs reading, recognition and inputting data from specific machine-readable zone of documents (a passport, visa, ID, etc.) in line with DOC 9303/2 ICAO standard, with a fingerprint identification option.

Symbol recognition

• Recognition algorithm: based on neural network with elements of artificial intelligence
• OCR recognition: no more than one error per 50,000 symbols.
• Error Recognition Rejection Rate: no more than one per 50,000 symbols.
• Two-line machine-readable passport zone (88 symbols) recognition time: no more than 2 seconds.
• The recognition algorithm can be upgraded offshore (via the Internet) to involve new symbols and characters.
