Creation of the Medical system

Using this program, an information medical system for an outpatient clinic was created by a general practitioner, who didn’t have any specialized training in programming. It took him about 2 hours to set up a program which included special forms for physical examination, analysis, clinical tests, diagnosis, and treatment. The system created was capable of keeping all the information about the patients and their visits. Each physician who had access to the local network was able to use the information stored as well as to enter new data. No programmers were recruited in the process. It helped not only to save money for the hospital but also to set up a system that was more efficient since it was created by its potential user who knew the work of the clinic very well. CREATIVE CASE is compatible with any relation database system. Data are currently stored with MS SQL Server 7.0/ 2000 or with MS Access, although other relational operational system (e. g. Oracle or Informix) can be used.
